Curriculum

Curriculum is all the planned learning that is offered and enacted by a school. Curriculum can be thought of as a sequence of elements: the intended, enacted, experienced, assessed and achieved curriculum, each one responsive to the others. A good curriculum has each of the elements aligned so that the intended learning is what is assessed and what students achieve.

The curriculum at Coorparoo Secondary College is organised under the Queensland Department of Education's P-12 curriculum framework. This framework is a structure for delivering the Australian Curriculum in the subject areas of English, mathematics, science and history for years 7 to 10. It also covers the other key learning areas and Queensland Studies Authorities syllabi in years 11 and 12.
