"Mathematics has its own value and beauty and the Australian Curriculum's mathematics aims to instil in students an appreciation of the elegance and power of mathematical reasoning."
The design of the mathematics course at Coorparoo Secondary College will equip students with the necessary skills to learn and navigate in a numerate world, building on and developing concepts from previous years. The goal is for students to have the confidence and means to approach familiar and unfamiliar situations positively and use mathematics and numerical practices to derive the most meaning from those contexts and situations.
Year 7 to 10
