Coorparoo Secondary College has a Dress Code and Standard and students are expected to wear the full, correct school uniform with pride. When wearing the uniform, students convey a strong message about themselves as well as the high standards set by our school community. Wearing the uniform helps to maintain a positive tone in the school community and ensures that the primary focus is learning. Students are to wear the school uniform to a high standard at all times.
The Principal will make the final decision to determine uniform compliance within the high standards of dress and appearance in place at Coorparoo Secondary College and thereby help to maintain a positive tone in the school community and ensure that our primary focus will be centred on learning.
FORMAL UNIFORM
TOPS
Junior Formal Shirt | Blue with short sleeves. One pocket on the left side with CSC embroidered in dark blue. | It must be worn tucked into shorts or trousers. The collar must be turned down. Sleeves are not to be folded up. |
Junior Formal Blouse | Blue with short sleeves. The blouse has one pocket on the left side with CSC embroidered in dark blue. | The blouse is worn so the cuff at the bottom of the blouse is below the top of the skirt, shorts or trousers. Sleeves are not to be folded up. |
Senior Formal Shirt | White with short sleeves. One pocket on left side with CSC embroidered in blue. | It must be worn tucked into shorts or trousers. The collar must be turned down. Sleeves are not to be folded up. |

Trousers
| Dark college grey worn with a black belt. | Trousers must be worn with the belt described below and with plain dark grey socks. |
Formal Shorts | Dark college grey belted longer length school shorts (near knee length) are worn with a black belt. | The length of the shorts is to the top of the knee. Shorts and trousers must be worn with the belt described below and with plain dark grey socks. |
Belt | Approximately 30mm black leather belt with plain buckle. | Formal shorts and trousers must be worn with a belt. Only plain buckles are acceptable. |
Socks | Plain dark grey socks. | Plain dark grey socks are to be worn above the ankle, at mid-calf length. Dark grey sock are to be worn with any grey bottoms option. |
Skirt | Royal blue skirt. | To be worn below the knee. To be worn on the waist. Students are not to roll the skirt up at the waist. |

ADDITIONAL ITEMS
Jumper
| Grey poly/cotton V-necked jumper. | Students may wear the school jumper or jacket. Sleeves are to be worn at the wrists (not pushed up the arms). When worn with sports uniform, polo shirt is to be tucked so it cannot be seen. |
Jacket | Blue and white jacket, zipped front. | Students may wear the school jumper or jacket. Sleeves are to be worn at the wrists (not pushed up the arms). When worn zipped up with sports uniform, polo shirt is to be tucked so it cannot be seen. |
Scarf | Royal blue with embroidered CSC logo. | Optional in Winter (June to August). Must be the scarf purchased from the uniform supplier. |
Hat | CSC logo royal blue cap/bucket hat. | Compulsory for HPE and for lunchtime play on the oval or basketball courts. The badge is to be facing the middle of the student's front. The brim of the bucket hat is to be worn turned down with the blue fabric on the exterior. |
Hair Ribbon | The only acceptable hair adornments are blue or white ribbon/hair band. | Ribbon may be worn to adorn hair when hair is tied back from the face, for example, pony tail, or plaits. |
Shoes | Plain black, leather, lace-up shoes with black laces. | Shoes must have impervious uppers to meet Workplace Health and Safety requirements. Laces are to be tied tightly with a bow at the top. The backs must always be firm to support the heel. Shoes must be in good order. See below for further information. If parents or carers are unsure, please contact the college. |
SPORT UNIFORM FOR ALL STUDENTS
The sports uniform is to be worn only for HPE periods and on sports days such as the Cross Country and Athletics Day. Students should change into their sports uniform before HPE and must change back into school uniform at the next break.
N.B. For Physical Education and Recreation and interschool sport, this complete Sports Uniform is compulsory - other clothes are NOT acceptable.
Polo Shirt

Jewellery

Hair
| Hair needs to be neat, tidy and conservative. Students should think carefully prior to making any radical change to an already acceptable hairstyle. | The Principal will make the final decision to determine if the hair style is acceptable. Hair colour should be natural. | Natural looking blonde, black, brown or red hair. |
Hair that is shoulder length or longer must be tied back. Hair must be out of the students face and pinned back. | This ensures compliance with Workplace Health and Safety policies in the school. |
Facial Hair | Students must be cleanly shaven at all times. | Students are to keep themselves neatly presented. |
Make-up, Nail Polish, Nail Decorations | All makeup products, nail products inclusive of polish, decorations and false nails are not permitted. | Makeup is only appropriate for students when participating in performance programs. |
Undershirts | Students may not wear a visible undershirt underneath their school uniform. | Students may wear singlets underneath their shirt/blouse but it is to be V-necked so it is not visible. Otherwise, when students need clothing to keep them warm students may wear the jumper or jacket. |
SHOES
Formal Shoes should be plain black, leather, lace-up shoes. No mesh or fabric inserts or inlays are allowed. Care and caution is required to avoid disappointment and unnecessary expense. If parents or carers are unsure, please contact the college. These are acceptable styles:
